The Central women’s basketball team returns to action this evening, playing host to Simpson in an American Rivers Conference tilt. The Dutch will put their 3-0 record on the line in their second consecutive home game, and will look to carry the momentum of an upset win over Loras on Saturday. The Storm are also 3-0, with only two games counting in conference play. Head Coach Joe Steinkamp says that Simpson may have its best team he’s ever faced during his tenure.

History is not on Central’s side. The last Dutch win in the series was on February 2nd, 2002, a 66-64 win in Indianola. That’s a streak of 38 games.
