The Class 1A and 2A boys basketball teams of Iowa know their path to Wells Fargo Arena.

Pella Christian is the No. 2 seed in Class 2A, District 11. The Eagles were afforded a first round bye, and on Thursday, February 18th, will play the winner of Williamsburg and Cardinal, who compete on Monday 2/15. Albia is the No. 1 seed on the other side of the bracket, and hosts either Davis County or Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont. The District 11 final is on Tuesday, February 23rd at Oskaloosa High School.

Pella Christian’s bracket is opposite of Class 2A District 12, with the winners of Districts 11 and 12 meeting in the Substate Final on February 27th. PCM is the No. 2 seed, and on the 18th, will host either Woodward-Granger or Chariton. No. 6 in Class 2A Des Moines Christian is the one seed in that bracket, and awaits the winner of Pleasantville hosting Colfax-Mingo at 7 p.m.

The Eagles can be heard live all postseason long on 92.1 KRLS, while the Mustangs and Trojans will be on their featured streams at kniakrls.com — all playoff basketball games can also be heard on the free KNIA and KRLS mobile apps.

In Class 1A District 11, Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas both open competition on Monday, February 15th. The Sabers head to Keota, while the Saints travel to New Sharon to take on North Mahaska.

All postseason boys basketball games have 7 p.m. start times during the district and substate finals.
