After winning both the Little Hawkeye regular season and conference tournament championships, the Norwalk wrestling team has earned the right to host a regional dual site on Wednesday, February 10th. In Class 3A, the top 24 ranked teams in the Iowa Wrestling Coaches & Officials Association poll qualify, with the top eight schools earning hosting roles. #7 Norwalk has a bye to the finals, and will face the winner of #9 Ankeny vs. #23 Ottumwa. Head Coach Brandon Schmitz is proud of his team’s accomplishments, and says it’s a momentous occasion for the Norwalk wrestling program.

Action between the Hawks and Bulldogs begins at 6:00 p.m. at Norwalk High School. The winner of the final dual advances to state duals at Wells Fargo Arena.
