pleasantville-3

Pleasantville’s girls basketball team will be back in action for a non-conference matchup as they travel to Southeast Warren tonight.

The Trojans are currently riding a three-game winning streak and are above .500 for the first time since they were 1-0 after their season-opening win against Twin Cedars. Pleasantville has notched wins against Madrid, Colfax-Mingo and Interstate-35 after losing back-to-back games to Earlham and Des Moines Christian.

The Trojans have won three of the last five games against Southeast Warren, but lost the last time they played the Warhawks, which was a 30-29 decision in February 2018. With a win, Pleasantville would eclipse double-digit wins in a season for the first time since 2017-18, when they went 11-12.

The game is scheduled to tip off at Southeast Warren High School at 7:30 PM.
