After getting snowed out on Thursday against Bondurant-Farrar, the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad looks forward to tonight and playing visiting Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont. The Panthers played the Rockets just eight days ago, winning in Eddyville 49-42. Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports losing out on last night’s game at Bondurant may have been a blessing since his girls would have had four games in five days this week. In the nightcap, the boys are also looking to pull the sweep over the Rockets, whom they also just played six days ago in a make-up game. Tonight is also a make-up game from December. While the conference title may be off the table for the Panthers, senior players Jaxon Zuck and Spencer Hixson say they are looking forward to playing tonight and finishing off the regular season.
