Pleasantville’s basketball teams will be back in action for a West Central Conference home doubleheader against Ogden tonight.
The Trojans’ girls will be looking to notch double-digit wins for the first time since 2017-18, when they finished 11-12. Also, a victory would clinch a .500 record for Pleasantville for the first time since 2010-11. The Trojans will be looking for their fourth consecutive win, which will continue their longest winning streak of the season and their second straight win against the Bulldogs.
The Trojans’ boys will look to get back to winning after dropping their last two games to Earlham and I-35. Pleasantville came away with a victory last time these two teams squared up, which was January 11. It was a 72-60 victory for the Trojans, who knocked down a season-high 13 three-pointers, including a career-high seven from Junior Taylon Mount. Pleasantville’s victory over Ogden is also their only conference win of the season.
The doubleheader will tip off at Pleasantville with the girls’ game beginning at 6:00 PM. The games will be broadcast on the KRLS3 stream at kniakrls.com with Alex Koch on the call.
