An arctic burst of air is expected to dominate the region for the next week. According to the National Weather Service, wind chill values will stay below zero for the foreseeable future, and drop as low as 20 below mainly in the overnights and early mornings — in those conditions, frostbite can occur in as little as 30 minutes. An additional round of snow is possible this afternoon and again on Sunday, with 1-to-3 inches between the two systems. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest winter weather information.
