Cold temperatures continue as arctic air remains in place across the region. Today, highs will reach above zero but are not expected to make it out of the single digits except for a few locations close to the Iowa-Missouri state line. Cloud cover tonight will prevent temperatures from rapidly dropping. Wind chills will still be bitter, but hazards associated will be largely mitigated. According to the National Weather Service, there will be multiple chances for light snow over the next several days as well. Stay tuned to KNIA/KRLS for the latest winter weather information.
