There have been 79 new cases of COVID-19 reported to the state of Iowa Coronavirus database over the past week in Marion County. Four new deaths due to the virus have been added during that time frame as well, increasing the total to 63 since the beginning of the outbreak. Marion County Public Health considered 3236 individuals to have recovered from COVID-19, with 53 cases active as of Monday. Two residents are hospitalized with the virus.
