State Representative Brooke Boden and the Iowa House of Representatives are currently debating the “School Choice” bill recently passed by the Iowa Senate, and have begun to break down the different parts of the bill for discussion. Representative Boden tells KNIA News the House is still debating the “school voucher” portion of the bill, and she is undecided while working to obtain more information.

“Whether or not that is something we are going to move forward and doing, that is something that is yet to be seen. I have to tell you I don’t have a hard and fast opinion on it yet. I am still talking to my school board members, I’ve talked to the superintendent, I’m talking to the district, and I’m kind of trying to wrap my arms around it.”

Boden also said she welcomes her constituents reaching out and voicing their opinion.
