The Knoxville Boys Bowling Squad will now head to the western side of Iowa at the Thunderbowl in Council Bluffs for the class 1A state qualifying meet on Wednesday. The meet was originally scheduled for today, but due to extreme cold temperatures the meet was moved to Wednesday. The Panthers have had a good season and are coming off a 5th place finish at the Two Rivers Conference meet on Thursday. Robert Sloan led the Panthers on Thursday 372 series, good enough for 10th overall. He also has the highest cumulative pin total at 3,109. The Panthers will be joined by Clarinda, Harlan, Red Oak, Southeast Warren, St. Albert, Tri-Center, and West Central Valley action gets underway at 11.
