The VA Central Iowa Health Care System’s Knoxville community based outpatient clinic is hosting a walk-in vaccination clinic for enrolled veterans on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.

CBOC Administrator Maureen Nichols tells KNIA/KRLS News that due to a larger allocation this week, walk-ins are available for those 65 years of age or older, or veterans that meet the medical/high risk conditions as listed by the Centers for Disease Control.

Guest/visitor restrictions apply and veterans arriving at the clinic will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms, be required to wear a mask, and socially distance while in the facility. Based on the volume of walk-ins for the day, some people may need to wait in their vehicles. Vaccines will be available on a first come, first served basis.
