The Norwalk boys basketball team traveled to Marshalltown Monday for its final road game of the regular season. The Warriors nearly came back from an early deficit, but fell just short in a 50-49 loss.
A low-scoring first quarter saw the Bobcats take a 9-6 lead after one, but that lead swelled to 27-15 at the half. Norwalk got to within eight after the third, which is when the game turned on its side. Marshalltown missed two free throws in the closing seconds up one, but the Warriors were unable to get a shot off at the end.
Norwalk falls to 12-8 overall and will host ADM this evening at 7:30 in the regular season finale.
