A career-best high jump mark of 5 feet, 3.75 inches by Central College women’s track and field sophomore Malory Jones the American Rivers Conference field events performer of the week accolades.

With her clearance, Jones slots in at No. 10 all-time for Central’s indoor women’s high jump. She was the meet champion, besting a field of four competitors. She has the second-best mark in the conference this season and the seventh best in the country.

The Dutch women have won back-to-back field events performer of the week honors after Mary Gray was honored last week.

Central will host Simpson College and Luther College Saturday inside H.S. Kuyper Fieldhouse for a triangular starting at noon.
