The Pleasantville City Council met in regular session Tuesday. They passed an ordinance prohibiting parking on lawns, approved a Chamber of Commerce membership, approved library trustees to offsetting terms, and appointed Joe Mrstik as the city’s representative in the Central Iowa Regional Housing Authority.

They set March 3rd as a public hearing date for Fiscal Year 2022 property tax levies, and set a wastewater treatment plant hearing for March 16th, where building a digestor plant into the wastewater facility will be discussed.

They also discussed a water main relocation due to construction at the high school athletic fields, and took no action regarding language in city code about pit bulls within city limits.

The next Pleasantville City Council meeting will be March 16th at 5:30 p.m.
