Freedom For Youth, the youth ministry in Knoxville, celebrated its new location on the Knoxville square with a ribbon cutting and open house Friday afternoon. Community Development Coordinator Angie Gentry says the organization is grateful for the larger space to share their ministry.

“It is exciting. We had always rented space where we didn’t have our own space. We grew enough that we needed a bigger space, and we needed our own space where we could increase our programs and have flexible times. God allowed all the pieces to come together for this building here. We just moved in in September, and we’ve been getting the building ready and having programs here since October.”

The event was sponsored by the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, and those in attendance learned about the organization’s mission. Hear more on an upcoming Let’s Talk Knoxville.
