
The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. They discussed at length the renewal of county employee benefits. They approved an allocation of $95,000 to libraries in the county. They received a presentation on the potential creation of an economic development district for Marion and surrounding counties.
They appointed Christi Vander Voort to the Pella Community Development Committee. They approved a Class C wine license for Grape Escape Winery, and held a discussion on improvements to the county’s website.
The next Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting will be March 9th at 9:00 a.m.
