Norwalk Head Boys Basketball Coach Chris Larson has called it a career after 24 seasons at the helm.

Larson cited a desire to focus more on being a dad as one of the main reasons for stepping away. The announcement comes as Larson’s son Grant wraps up his senior year and prepares to join the Wartburg football team. His daughter Anna just concluded her freshman basketball season, and Larson often missed the second half of those games due to his coaching responsibilities.

Larson guided his teams to 334 wins and 225 losses, and brought the Warriors to the state tournament six times, with a Class 3A championship in 2020.
