Knoxville High School graduates who are in their second, third or fourth year of post-secondary education have until Monday to apply for post-secondary scholarships. Knoxville Panther Scholarship Foundation President Kurt Froyen says they offer scholarships for all areas of study at any type of institution.
“We have several scholarships that are given for specific majors. Once they tell us which major they’re pursuing, they automatically become eligible for those particular scholarships. In addition, we also have students fill out a goals statement, student involvement statement, work experience and volunteer activities. All of those various topics that we fill out will make them eligible for scholarships in those particular areas.”
Froyen adds that every student who applies will receive a scholarship.
