Independence Village of Pella residents and staff received the final round of their COVID-19 vaccines. As part of a celebration, they enjoyed candy, cookies, and a photo booth, as part of their “Kiss Covid-19 Goodbye” theme, after getting their shots. When the community received their first round of shots, on January 21, they had a “Crush Covid-19” themed party.

Life Enrichment Director Megan Bouska said, “After our residents received their second round of the vaccine, you could feel and see how cheerful they all were. It helps us visualize a ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ from this entire pandemic.”
