The Indianola Jazz Bands competed in the Jim Coffin Jazz Festival at Woodward-Granger High School this past weekend, earning several top finishes. The Jazz 1 band earned a 2nd place finish in class 4A, with solo award certificates given to Zane Kolosik on Alto/Soprano Sax and Sam Thessen on Alto Sax. The Jazz 2 band also placed second in their category, with solo award certificates given to Hope Overton on Alto Sax, Erik Jensen on Bari Sax, and Keegan Tilley on Guitar.
