There were 38 new positive tests of COVID-19 reported in Marion County during the final week of February. According to the State of Iowa Coronavirus Database, there are 175 cases considered active and infectious. In total, 69 Marion County residents have died due to the virus. There are two local individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. A total of 6,031 vaccine doses have been received by Marion County residents, with 1,220 completing the two shot series.
