The Central volleyball team concludes the first half of its spring season this evening with a trip to Nebraska Wesleyan. The Dutch enter 1-2 both overall and in conference play, and have had nearly a week off since a 3-0 loss to Wartburg in Friday’s home opener. The fourth game of the season, it will be the third on the road.
The Prairie Wolves are also 1-2, but enter with the momentum of a road sweep over Luther on Saturday. Nebraska Wesleyan has won three straight in the series, coincidentally, all with 3-1 scores. Central’s last win in Lincoln in the series was in 1998.
Tonight’s match begins with a 5:00 p.m. first serve inside Snyder Arena on the Nebraska Wesleyan University campus in Lincoln.
