Two seniors will depart the Twin Cedars Girls Basketball program after this season. Chloe Swank and Jenna Hastings combined to average just over nine points per game, but as Coach Trent Verwers tells KNIA/KRLS Sports, their leadership and accepting their roles was what he was most proud of.

Verwers:
“Those two girls when I first came in it was a different type of coach than I was and they just did whatever I asked them and it was really fun coaching them.”

Verwers adds Swank and Hastings were vital during the season when the team had to quarantine at the start, plus their off the court presence was also appreciated.
