The Knoxville City Council held the second of two work sessions Thursday evening for the purpose of Action Planning with Iowa State Extension and Outreach of Economic Development staff. Council members brainstormed ideas about the future of the city, including quality of life amenities, expanded diversity of housing options, progress toward VA redevelopment, improved community beautification, economic development, and enhanced facilities and programs.

The council will hold another work session Monday to discuss the city manager position.
