Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds visited Indianola Friday afternoon, touring the newly constructed Missouri Valley Line facility. The new facility is a consolidation of training centers to the new Indianola location, which will bring high paying jobs and students to the area. Governor Reynolds also focused on the city’s project of extending E Iowa Ave and the utilities around the area, of which a funding source is a grant from the state. The project will allow access to the new MVL facility, and help expand the city and industrial park to the east.
