The rich tradition of Pella boys basketball continues this week as the team heads to the school’s 18th all-time appearance at the state tournament. No. 2 Pella opens against No. 7 Monticello in the Class 3A quarterfinals on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
