The Pella boys basketball team has advanced to the state semifinal contest after taking down undefeated Monticello in the quarterfinal round as heard live on 92.1 KRLS Tuesday evening 59-46. The Little Dutch led from start to finish, including holding the Panthers to just five points in the opening quarter. Assistant Coach Blaine Forysthe says that after getting knocked out in the first round a year ago, it was nice to get a victory on the state’s biggest stage and extend the season to later in the week.
