The Warren County Board of Supervisors met in special session Tuesday. The board approved the canvass of the March 2nd special elections for Indianola Mayor and the Martensdale-St. Mary’s School District Revenue Purpose Statement, a Memorandum of Understanding with the Teamster 238 regarding wages, reviewed quotes regarding HVAC upgrades, approved a change order regarding the Warren County Justice Center Project, and appointed board member Darren Heater as the new representative for the board on the project, with authority to approve change orders under $5,000. The vote to approve Representative Heater as the board rep was 2-1, with Board Chair Aaron DeKock voting against.
The board also went into a work session to discuss further Warren County Justice Center change orders, the establishment of a road on Quebec Street east of Co Hwy R57, and went into closed session for an employee review.
