Knoxville School staff received their second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine Thursday, and a majority of school employees are now just two weeks from maximum immunity. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says the timing of the second dose lines up well with the district calendar, as staff will now get all of next week to recover from potential side effects during spring break.
