A Pleasantville sex offender has been arrested after failing to comply with the sex offender registry. A Marion County Deputy attempted to perform a routine compliance check at a residence on West Robinson Street in Knoxville, and found that 40-year-old Jedediah Light had moved to an unknown residence “a few months” prior, and failed to appear at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office to report the change. Light failed to register others living at his residence, failed to appear during his verification month, and failed to register a secondary residence.

Light was taken into custody and faces felony charges of violation of sex offender registry second offense. Bond is set at $5,000, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 18th.
