Team Together was the montra of the Pella boys basketball team in the winter of 2020-21, and that journey was completed with a Class 3A state championship Friday night. Pella defeated Ballard 68-59, as heard live on 92.1 KRLS. It’s the 3rd championship in the history of the program, with the first two coming in 2002 and 2003 in consecutive seasons. The Dutch did so in the school’s 18th ever final eight appearance, with wins over Monticello and Sergeant Bluff-Luton leading up to the finals. Stay tuned to KRLS for continuing coverage.
