Pella and Pella Christian individual speech students performed at the state contest over the weekend. Out of 34 total entries, 23 received a Division I superior score for Pella Community student performances — 14 of which earned perfect ones from all three judges. From Pella Christian 13 of 14 entries earned a Division I superior score, 10 of which earned perfect ones from all three judges. All-State nominations for individual speech will be announced by the Iowa High School Speech Association on March 24th.
