The Pleasantville Drama Department sent three students to Saturday’s state individual speech contest, with all three earning overall “1” ratings. Katherine Nickel and Elizabeth Goodale each competed in Solo Musical Theatre. Justin Nickel competed in Storytelling.

All-state selections will soon be announced by the Iowa High School Speech Association.
