pleasantville-3

Pleasantville’s boys’ track team is excited to get back on the track, but the biggest challenge is going to be finding a consistent practice schedule for everybody.

The Trojans will also have issues practicing on their track as they have a cinder track they practice on to start the season and in between meets. Coach Dillon Daniel tells KNIA Sports that his team is improvising during the opening weeks of practice.

“The biggest challenge for us is finding a practice schedule and location that works best for us. Having a cinder track, with the amount of precipitation that we had, most people don’t think about that when we have weather like this, especially in the beginning of the season, it becomes unlevel. I think in the first two weeks of practice, we have been on it once.”

Pleasantville’s first meet will be March 30 at Pella Christian.
