Former Knoxville Boys Golf Standout Tyler Vaske is starting his sophomore season for the Grand View Men’s Golf Squad. The Vikings have had two events this spring finishing 5th in a meet at San Antonio, Texas and 6th in Pine Mountain, Georgia. Vaske tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his early season scores have not been where he wants, but he continues to work on his game.

Vaske:
“It’s right around to adjusting your game and you’ll be shooting even par. I’m ready to get into the April and May grind of the season because that’s where you pick up your game.”

In the Vikings last meet in Georgia, Vaske finished 44th individually. Grand View’s next meet is Monday and Tuesday in the Battle of Primm in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hear a full interview of Vaske from this week’s Radio Sports Page at kniakrls.com.
