To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Iowa flag, a ceremony will be held at the state capitol in Des Moines on Monday, March 29th. T. Waldmann-Williams says Governor Kim Reynolds will sign a proclamation.

“At 10:30 a.m. at the capitol rotunda in Des Moines, Marla Suter, who is the state regent for the Iowa Daughters of the American Revolution, they’re going to have the governor read a proclamation. They commissioned a scarf, and that will be presented to the governor.”
