It’s a lighter schedule of events for Central College Athletics today, with just three games on the schedule. The Dutch baseball team looks to move back above .500 with a pair of wins today when they play host to Coe in the conference and home opener. Central is off to a 2-2 start to the season after a two wins over Monmouth and two losses to Millikin. On the other side, Coe enters as one of the hottest teams in the league at 4-1, and is receiving votes in the latest D3Baseball.com poll. The teams last met in 2019, when the Kohawks took two of three. Coe has not played in Pella since 2017, when Central took two of three. The Central volleyball team will play its final game of the 2021 spring season today, making the trip northeast to take on Luther. The Dutch will try to finish with an even .500 record, entering the contest 3-4. The Norse have struggled this season, and enter with an 0-6 record. Only two of Luther’s matches have been extended beyond three sets. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. inside the Regents Center on the Luther College campus in Decorah.
