The Indianola City Council meets in regular and a special study session this evening The council will first consider an appointment to the Fine Arts and Beautification Commission and read a resolution declaring April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. The council will consider a contract for the Moats Park Restroom Project, the West Highway 92 Tree Planting Project, and the adoption of the utility refund policy.
The council will also discuss brush facility services for 2021, the annual fee schedule, and the aquatic center opening guidelines before going into closed session to discuss litigation. After the closed session concludes, the council will hold a study session regarding the Square Streetscape Project and the one-way to two-way conversion on and around the downtown square and COVID-19 stimulus options. The meeting begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
