Marion County Treasurer Michaela Bigaouette reminds residents that property tax payments are due one week from today. She says that the easiest way to pay is online.

“I really like to highlight the most convenient method is through our payment website: www.iowatreasurers.org. There is a five-digit receipt number that’s located on your tax statement. If you don’t have your tax statement, you can always get a copy from our website or our assessor’s website, beacon.schneidercorp.com. Lots of folks are familiar with that website. If you scroll down to the bottom, the tax valuation section of the website has your tax receipt number right on there.”

Payments can also be mailed or dropped off in person at the Treasurer’s Office. Payments are due at the end of the day Wednesday, March 31st.
