With just six kids on the Twin Cedars Boys Track and Field Squad, Coach Marty Duffy says the goals are a little different from a team that would have 18 more kids to choose from. He tells KNIA/KRLS Sports while team accomplishments are not a goal this season, he says a lot of individual glory can be had by the guys. He says so far the guys are taking it seriously and hopes they can improve times and distances as the season goes on.

Duffy:
“We’ve actually shown improvement on times, and that’s all we’ll work on, and it causes me to take it seriously because the guys are taking it seriously.”

The Sabers are scheduled to head to Albia today for a non-scored meet. The first scheduled regular season meet is April 13th against Chariton.
