Melcher-Dallas Senior Track star J’Lyn Knutson is back on the track this season, and she is incredibly excited to see what the 2021 season brings for her and her team.

 

The last time Knutson stepped on the track, she finished 6th Place in the 1500 meter state run in 2019. After the 2020 season was shut down, Knutson knows that all she can do is to go out and do the best she can.

 

“Just go out and do the best that I can and have fun and enjoy every second because at this point, it is good to have our track season.”

 

Knutson also states that she is thrilled that she is able to finish her career with a senior season and hopes that her team gets a feel for running on the track before their first meet. Melcher-Dallas begins their track season April 5 travelling to Meskwaki Settlement, which begins at 4:30 PM.
