In the final National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III individual rankings of the season, a trio of Central College wrestlers were listed in the top-12 at their weight class.
Junior Rob Areyano is No. 5 at 149 pounds, Griffen McBride is No. 10 at 184 pounds and Luis Ramos is No 12 at 141 pounds.
Areyano, who wrestled up at 157 pounds, went 5-3 during the regular season. He recorded four first-period falls and needed just one takedown in each of those victories.
McBride went 4-4 on the season with all four wins coming as bonus-point victories. Six times he scored four-point nearfalls and had three reversals.
Ramos had a team-high seven victories in varsity matches, finishing the regular season 7-1. He had five bonus-point victories, including three falls.
