There have been 27 new cases of COVID-19 in Marion County over the past week, according to the State of Iowa Coronavirus Database. In total, 94 infections are considered active and infectious by the Iowa Department of Public Health. Three residents are hospitalized locally. Currently, 5,315 residents have completed their COVID-19 vaccinations, with an additional 2,937 getting the first dose of either Moderna or Pfizer.
