Churches and congregations across Indianola will be gathering Sunday to continue a new tradition that began last year, the Palm Sunday Parade. Rev. Dave Endriss with Trinity Presbyterian Church tells KNIA News for many, one of the highlights of the year is the Palm Sunday service, and last year that wasn’t an option because of the pandemic so they thought of doing a parade to help alleviate some of the loss and get the community together in a safe way. Endriss also said that was a huge motivating factor for organizing the parade again this year, trying to continue that sense of community. Those participating in the parade can tune in to 94.3 KNIA to hear music, which begins at the Trinity Presbyterian Church at noon.
