Pleasantville’s boys track team’s first couple weeks of practice are almost complete as they prepare for their first meet at Pella Christian.
The Trojans will be operating under a youth movement for 2021 as more than half of their roster will be underclassmen. All freshmen and sophomores that are on the roster will be competing in their first track meet of their high school career after last season was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The athletes that coach Dillon Daniel are looking to step up and be leaders are Ben Wicks, Clayton Hillis, and Mason Scheve.
The Trojans’ meet in Pella Christian is Tuesday and scheduled for 4:30 PM.
