Several area high school students have earned the highest possible honor in speech competitions. The Iowa High School Speech Association announced All-State nominations from individual performances. The following area students were honored:

This year’s Iowa High School Speech Association Individual All-State festival, typically held at the University of Northern Iowa, was cancelled due to COVID-19.
