The Central Soccer teams got their seasons underway Saturday, playing host to Coe in an American Rivers Conference women’s-men’s doubleheader at Pella High School. The Dutch women started the day with a 1-0 victory courtesy of a goal during the 22nd minute by Rachel Daniels. The Central men carried the shutout trend with a 3-0 win, with two goals from Nathan Casas and one by Zach Worster. Both teams move to 1-0 on the season.

The Central baseball team will get its weekend series at Wartburg started today with a doubleheader at Wartburg. First pitch from Waverly is scheduled for 1:00.

The men’s golf team is also in action today at the Eagle Spring Classic. First tee times are 9:00 a.m.
