The Knoxville School Board will meet in regular session Monday in a meeting that was pushed back from March 22nd. Superintendent Cassi Pearson says budgets and finances will be discussed.
“We will have a public hearing. We’ve been working on setting our budget for next school year. That is due to the state on April 15th. We’ll be publicizing the tax rate, we’re looking at staying flat, and we’re excited about that for property tax payers. We’ll also review our audit from the 2019-2020 school year. That has to be submitted to the state by March 30th.”
The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Monday inside the Knoxville Schools Administration Building.
