PCM will be competing in track meets as the boys travel to East Marshall for their first meet, while the girls will open at home.

The Mustangs’ boys will compete against the host, Dike-New Hartford, Gladbrook-Reinbeck, Lynnville-Sully, Don Bosco, and AGWSR. This will be the first time the Mustangs’ boys will compete in a meet since the spring sports season was shut down due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

As for the Mustangs’ girls, they are excited to get on the track for the first time at their brand-new facility for their first track meet since 2019. PCM will be competing with fellow Marion County foes Pleasantville and Pella Christian. Eric Karr tells KRLS Sports that he is excited to see his team out on the track this season.

“We talk about getting better. We talk about being committed, getting the technique and working hard and if you end up doing those things you are going to end up winning meets and being successful. I just don’t think that needs to be a focus right now.”

Both meets are scheduled to begin this afternoon at 4:30 PM.
